AEROSOL RECYCLING

Currently there are three models of Aerosolv® available:

Model 5000 - The original system with over 10,000 units operating in the workplace.

Model 7000 - An updated version of the Model 5000, is Teflon® coated to allow easier cleaning. A Teflon® check valve has been added to completely eliminate back pressure and blow by within the puncture device. The color metric indicator on the carbon filter indicates when a filter change is needed, preventing premature replacement. The slide bar is designed so that you can padlock the system, assuring the integrity of the drum contents and preventing unauthorized operation.

Model 6000 - California Assembly Bill #483 authorized waste aerosol can generators to use certified aerosol can recycling technologies without extensive permitting or authorization requirements. Aerosol® entered into an agreement with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the California Environmental Protection Agency for federal verification and state certification of the Aerosol® technology. The result of this process is the Model 6000. This system consists of the Model 6000 puncturing device and a 30 gallon activated carbon filtration system. The Model 6000 will be available for shipment in July of 1999.
