WASTE CONTROL SYSTEMS'

IN-DRUM COMPACTORS

Low Level Radioactive Waste Compactors

Disposal:

Disposal fees are charged by volume, not weight. Currently, it costs generators more than $2,000 per barrel to dispose of low-level radioactive wastes. The more you can get into a container, the more you save. The CTI Compaction System packs waste more densely, thereby, saving users thousands of dollars.

CTI has been producing state of the art drum compactors for years and is an innovator of unique targeted equipment to handle specific waste streams. Extremely safe and reliable, the CTI Compaction System meets the needs for burial for today---and is designed for the storage needs of the future.

Decay & Storage:

If your waste stream consists of short lived radionuclides. CTI offers a unit that allows you to package the shorter lived materials into either a 30 gallon or 55 gallon polyethylene drum. Which is then, held for decay. You still have the flexibility to package into the standard 55 gallon steel drum for disposal.
