WASTE CONTROL SYSTEMS'

PAINT- CAN CRUSHERS

Container Recycling

Empty and crush half-pint cans to six-gallon pails in preparation for recycling or disposal with the TeeMark family of crushers. Paints, inks, stains and sealant can be recovered for reuse, and the container recycled.

PCC1 & PCC1J Model

The Model PCC1 Series are high-speed one-gallon can crushers. Each can is subjected to 30,000 pounds of crushing force. Frozen latex paint, flooring adhesives and semi-liquid materials are all squeezed from their containers by this intense force. Cans containing liquid-paint are RCRA empty when processed. The piercing system on the PCC1 reduces labor costs by eliminating the need to remove the lid. The Model PCC1J can ejector automatically tosses the crushed can into a collection container. The 10-second cycle time allows you to process over 300 can per hour. For Household Hazardous Waste operators and waste processors the Recycle Check option makes it easier to recycle the one-gallon cans.

What is Recycle Checking?

Recycle Check is linked to the crushing process and the ejection system on the PCC1J which allows only completely crushed cans to be ejected. Those cans are usually ½ inch thick. If a crushed can is thicker than desired (the exact thickness is adjustable) the can is not ejected. The operator removes it from the crusher and places it in a separate container for disposal.
